Word of Life adds Cross Country

POTTERSVILLE, NY-- The Word of Life Bible Institute Huskies are proud to announce the addition of Cross Country to the list of sports offered to Student-Athletes. The addition of Cross Country will start in the fall of 2023. Here is a statement made by Athletic Director Matthew Layton.

"Cross Country has been at the top of the list of sports to add for a while. I am excited that we are now able to do so! I believe that this will attract more students to the Bible Institute and that the program will grow quickly. As with our other sports, we train our students to use sports as a ministry. Cross Country will provide a great avenue for our students to minister with other runners. It will be exciting to see the Gospel go out in this setting."  

Cross Country was a sport previously sponsored by Word of Life Bible Institute in the past but was discontinued after the fall of 2009 season. The Huskies are very excited about Cross Country returning to Word of Life and joining Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Soccer, Volleyball, and Softball in sports offered by Word of Life Bible Institute.
