The Word of Life Huskies traveled to Albany, NY to face Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Panthers in a non-conference matchup Wednesday evening. The first half was very competitive as both sides found each other separated by 1 point with the Panthers leading 27-26. The Panthers took over the game in the 3rd Quarter and while the Huskies fought hard to get back into the game, it was too late as the Panthers took a 54-43 victory over Word of Life.
The three impact players for the Huskies during the game were led by Kayli Hayden, she scored 21 points and secured 11 Rebounds. MJ Buck was second on the scoring sheet with 11 points and Melody Parker led the team in rebounds with 12.
