Albany, NY - - The Huskies entered Wednesday night's game against the Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences Panthers with something to prove as they looked to bounce back from a heartbreaking loss Sunday against Great Bay. The Huskies entered play 3-5 while the Panthers entered with a record of 1-1.
The Huskies started off quickly and never looked back. Kayli Hayden scored 12 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 steals. Cydney MacDonald scored 10 points off the bench. Allison Baker also scored 10 points and hauled in 8 rebounds, while Rachel Sheaffers scored 6 points, but hauled in 13 boards as the Huskies left Albany with the Panthers needing stitches with a 51-28 win for the Huskies.
The Huskies have now won 4 out of their last 5 games and look to continue their hot streak on Tuesday night at 5 pm at the Huskies Health and Athletic Center against the Bryant & Stratton College-Albany Bobcats.
