Mount Hope, WV – February 12, 2026 – Word of Life capped its road swing with a balanced offensive effort and another lockdown defensive showing, rolling to a 68–38 win at Appalachian Bible on Thursday afternoon.
Game flow
- The Huskies raced out to a 19–7 lead after the first quarter and carried a 31–16 advantage into halftime behind efficient inside scoring and active defense.
- Word of Life continued to extend the margin with a 14–14 third quarter and a dominant 23–8 fourth, outscoring Appalachian Bible in every period.
- The visitors' 37–22 second-half surge turned a comfortable lead into a decisive 30-point victory.

- Word of Life shot 28-of-76 from the field (36.8 percent), including 6-of-22 from three and 6-of-10 at the foul line, to finish with 68 points.

- Eva Penning added 10 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and four steals in a well-rounded performance, while Sloan Clark chipped in 11 points, including two threes and 3-of-5 free throws.
- Jordyn Wilkins hit two threes on her way to six points and seven rebounds, and Regan George provided a spark with a three-pointer off the bench.
