Tully, NY – The Word of Life Bible Institute Huskies traveled down to Tully to square off against conference rival SUNY ESF Mighty Oaks. The Mighty Oaks entered play 1-1 like the Huskies and both were competing in their conference opener. In last year's matchup, the Mighty Oaks dominated in a 6-1 victory over the Word of Life Huskies. This year, it was more of the same as the Mighty Oaks got off to a quick start and kept on going as they took a 7-0 victory over the Huskies. With only 2 HVIAC games this season, the Huskies will need to defeat the Five Towns College Sound if they want to have a re-match against SUNY ESF.
The Huskies' next game is Friday, September 22 at 3 p.m. on the road against Fulton Montgomery Community College.
