Huskies Dominate in Knight Invite

Milton, NY – The Word of Life Huskies participated in the 2023 MSMC Knight Invite hosted by Mount Saint Mary's College Knights on Saturday. The conditions were wet and muddy, but the Huskies did well in the elements.

The Women's results in the 6K as a team took 2^nd place with Freshman Angelina Pusateri leading the way and taking 2^nd place individually, with Jaslove Wood, Marlene Bowers, and Lauren Bowers placing in the top 25 Female runners out of the 129 runners participating. The Huskies took 2^nd place out of the 15 schools there which was only 3 points off first place.

The Men's results in the 8K as a team took 3^rd place with Tyler Meyer, Jared Templin, Derek Tewksbury, and Daniel Bubar placing in the top 35 out of 156 runners participating. The Huskies placed 3^rd place and this was a really good result being a competition out of 19 different schools (16 of which were NCAA Division 3 and 2 of which were NCAA Division 2)

The Huskies' next event is Saturday, September 30^th at Hampshire College.
