Queensbury, NY—The Word of Life Huskies faced off against nearby SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves Wednesday evening. The Huskies started off quickly with a goal from Joseph Mathews (#11) in the 10th minute of the game and added his 2nd goal of the game (10th of the season) in the 40th minute (assisted by Elijah Haynes & Joel Castro) to take a 2-0 lead. The Timberwolves would get a goal via a Penalty Kick in the 45th minute (4 seconds left until halftime) to get on the board. The Timberwolves would ad a goal late to level the game at 2-2 for a draw.
The Huskies are now 3-1-1 on the season and play HVIAC rival Five Towns College Sound on Saturday at 2pm at the Huskies Soccer Complex.
