Clark's Summit, PA – The Word of Life Huskies traveled down to Clark's Summit to take on the Clark's Summit Defenders and Penn State Schuylkill Nitany Lions in a double-header. In the first game, the Huskies faced off against the Defenders, the Defenders took the first 2 sets before the Huskies took set 3. After a close 4th set, the defenders hung on to win by the score of 3-1 for their first victory of the season. The Huskies then faced Penn State Schuylkill to wrap up the road trip. A close first set kept the Huskies in the game, but the Lions overpowered the Huskies and routed them in a 3-0 victory over Word of Life.
The Huskies' next game is Wednesday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m. at the Huskies Health and Athletic Center against SUNY Adirondack.
